Mumbai is a demanding city to design for. Homes here are often compact, sometimes sea-facing, and always lived in hard. Space has to earn its keep; materials have to survive humidity and monsoon.
A renovation here also has to work around how the city actually runs — strict society rules, permissions, contractor schedules, and delivery logistics that no two neighbourhoods share. A Juhu home is planned differently from a Peddar Road flat; a Santacruz apartment asks different questions from a South Mumbai residence.
